run an gun all day.

Assault. ak47 (no attachments) any pistol (no attachments)
perks. lightweight, slight of hand, and ninja
frag an flash

SMG. ak74u (grip to steady aim) any pistol (no attachments)
perks. lightweight, slight of hand, and ninja
frag an flash

Scope. (rarely used) any bolt action cuz semi takes no skill
perks. ghost, hardened, and ninja
frag an flash

im a big promod fan. others might use clays, tubes, and launchers and i'll do my best to walk all over em with nothing but a gun, some bullets, and a little skill.
being that this game (black ops) is going to have modtools promod will fallow shortly after and thats where real skill will show.

You got Ego my friend, i like that. Sniping with any gun takes skill. I can't hit sh!t with a psg. Quick scope? can'y do that either.

I think claymores are funny. I never tube. You're right a few bullets and some skill goes along way. Kudos

I can quickscopes 6/10 times with the PSG1 and or L96A1. No matter the game the first weapon I always play with is the sniper rifle. I rarely use the ACOG and always use the Variable Scope. It takes practice but for some reason quickscoping is almost natural in Black Ops for me, where as MW2 I had difficulty. Which is quite ironic considering Treyarch did "everything they could" to eliminate quickscoping.

As far as rifle goes, PSG1 all the way. =]

Now I will say this, I think they should have replaced the Reflex Sight with Variable Scopes on assault rifles. Here's why: 1) Reflex is absolutely no different from red dot, and looks ugly as fuck. 2) Variable scopes on FAL and M14 = GODLIKE, and it wouldn't be overpowered because the guns themselves wouldn't cause enough damage to one hit, and if you used anything fully auto, once you get into the second and final stage of your scope, recoil is REALLY going to add up, so you have to burst fire if anything. Obviously if they switched this up, the scope power would have to go from x6-x10-x12, to x4-x6-x10 or some other variation to keep it from becoming a complete camp fest.

"Variable Scopes on FAL and M14 = GODLIKE"

So True because of fire rate and other factors.
I stick with my Commando usually. The ACOG seems to work really well for me. It's harder than red dot sights, but easier to burst fire headshots from a distance. I used the AK-47 for a while with it and that was a bitch. The commando shoots pretty straight till the third bullet, but if your aiming for the head then two should do it at most. The Crossbow is sick as F*$k though! Get behind someone or shoot a wall next to a few. it's an effortless Doublekiller. I tried those AKIMBO Shotguns...I'm not effective with em at all. Assault rifles are my specialty I can say. I'm usually trying to be tactical and aiming down the sight alot i crouch, prone exc...Check my combat record for the commando or ak. like 900 kills so far. Love it

You know what's funny, I find it easier to crouch and hipfire someone with the crossbow to get sticks. For some reason it's really accurate.

I play with 3 specific classes, and Escape pretty much nailed them on the head. AKs for sub and rifle, and my L96A1 for sniping and quickscoping. I really don't like what they did with quickscoping in Black Ops. You can't flick RIGHT after scoping in... or you'll usually miss. You can't no scope with ANY form of accuracy (unless you're standing still). And just scoping in and firing in general is somewhat inaccurate. I really don't understand why they took it out to be completely honest. It put the skill in sniping in CoD.
