Map callouts are a tool used by competitive players to quickly identify locations and routes that enemies are using, or routes and spots for team mates to use. Instead of making up vague or confusing descriptions on the spot in the middle of a game. By doing this, every time someone calls out a location, every player on the team immediately knows exactly what he means, with no guesswork or uncertainty.
