anyone plan on playing call of duty cold war?

Postby Zendar30 » Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:19 am

hey all,

I was curious if anyone plans on picking this up at release? I know myself, Don, and HIddensquid have been playing the open beta which goes until tomorrow.

I have been playing mw2019 with Don for past year or so and enjoy it, I do enjoy this new beta and will purchase and play it, but only if others will be playing? I am also a one game guy and don't see myself switching too often between mw2019 and new CoD. So once I buy it I am all in, unless game sucks total at release or something like that.

Anyone have any thoughts?

When I first started playing, I knew it wasn't MW. So I told myself, it feels off. Like when I went from MW2 to BO1. So I told myself, I like BO1 now, but I didn't like it at first because it didn't feel the same. After I played the beta for a bit, I got use to it. I started doing much much better. Going from under 1. KDR to 1.5-3.0 KDR. Just took some getting use to.

Clearly there are areas I would like to change. But overall, I think it is a good game. I am a bit more open to it than many others. No names, but people that play EFT were unpleased it wasn't smooth feeling.

Am I 100% sold on getting it? No. But I am not against it. Generally, I liked it. It had some new modes too. I am on the fence. If more people got it, I'd be all in. but that's unlikely. I still have about 3 weeks or so to make up my mind.

I have pre-purchased cold war. Been enjoying playing MW this last week! I like the way game feels, so I am anxious to see the differences between the 2 games!

I just pre purchased it, I was reading you can pre load on PC on Nov 10, and nice thing is only have to install the components you want not everything.

The cheapest I found it was at greenmangaming for $52.79 - 12% off and did not charge any tax.
